PPC tips and tricks with Mark Ling
From my recent time in Vegas networking with some of the ineternet’s top affilaites and marketer’s I found some great insight into looking at affiliate marketing from mark Ling a top super affilaite from New Zealand.
Here’s a synopsis of what mark recommends:
Look at products in click bank with a gravity over 30 to find realtive profitability. Also look at what mark calls blue ocean stratgies, that means don’t go for where all the sharks are competing for the same fish. Look for where you have clear waters, less crowded marketplaces with good amounts of products that you can backend sales with ionce you drive traffic for a certain campaign.
One way to do this is to look outside of you own geographic country. The US is the biggest market and also the most competitice. Look at other english speaking countries not that it matters that much but it shouyd still prevent any issues around translations. the UK, – (stay away!) – just kidding and Australia and canada are ways of tapping into good markets and also the cost for PPC will be less inthese countres.
Look also at advertisng on other search engines such as Yahoo and MSN in other countries. There will be less competition and more ROI per click.
One final tip is if you run ads spend some time making clickable banner style ads they are visually much moe appealing than just a plain boring text ad.
